Its that time of year again, bees are buzzing, the tropical version on spring has flown past and now almost summer. Jacaranda trees are in bloom everywhere, bring on the theme song of purple haze. These trees can be massive, like 20 metres tall when fully grown. Grafton NSW holds the title for Australia’s oldest and biggest. Their streets were planted with seedlings back in 1870, if you think a branch or two of flowers is pretty, you should see what a whole avenue of fully grown trees look like.
The week was topped off with a lovely shout out from Kaisercraft about one of our free books that featured their stamps being used in mixed media and mail art projects. Always nice to receive recognition for our creative projects.
