To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow
“to plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow’ Audrey Hepburn
That is such a lovely message. For gardeners we know it to be true, growing something from seed can take a while but oh so worth it. This week I got some time off in the country to enjoy family, fresh air and sunshine. This garden is part of a new venture called the Farm in Byron Bay on the north coast of NSW. In Australia this is the region where communes and organic is common. The photo is one of their pretty examples of permaculture. I love the way they are taking big conversations like sustainability and making them easy to understand like this pretty garden bed that mixes vegetables that grow better together along with a flowers that deflect pests.

Beautiful shot! An enlightened approach to gardening.
Stunning photo!
That’s a great quote and, oh, so true. I like this photo a lot. I guess your weather is quite good for permaculture. It might be the perfect farm.
