Waiting on the weather
We are waiting on the arrival of a bit of wild weather. Here in the tropics they call them a cyclone while I grew up with hurricanes, either way its going to be blustery on the coast.
The artist and nature watcher in me finds wild weather interesting (as long has you have a safe place to hide out in) the power and force that nature uses in shaping our landscape and even these gnarled trees have been twisted into unusual shapes. These are a mix of coastal banksia and spiky leaves are from a Pandanus tree.

Beautiful photo! I also love watching the weather come in. The wilder, the better!
Lindas fotos! Não sei como eu viveria com furacões… por aqui quando há chuvas fortes temos muito medo.
What a pretty view of the coast! I hope you will stay safe from the cyclone. Great photo, have a happy weekend!
Lovely shot of the sea…happy Friday. Found you through Skywatch.
Nice shot of the waves.
such a beautiful capture.
Beautiful moment before the storm Mandy… I hope you are safe and things have calmed down.
Thanks for stopping by to comment on my Powell Lake photos. One of the things we love about living on the lake is weather watching. When we lived in Los Angeles, there wasn’t much change in the weather from season to season. Here we get to experience clouds, storms, calm and seasons. We love it. – Margy
no clouds on the sky but a bit windy on the waves I hope teh weather did not become that bad. 🙂
